Black Friday 29 - Pressure Release

here´s something i almost forgot about. my friend micha brought it back to my mind a couple of days ago.

we shot this thing in the fall of 2004 at the teufelsberg in berlin while we were on tour. 

i always liked the vibe of this video and actually still like it very much...

pressure release is a song from our first LP "The Escape" and is also the only video we ever did.

last week i had my friend Chriss Dettmer working at my shop for a week and since i´m bored by my ipod big time i´m always happy when guestartists put theirs on the station for a while.
most of the time i´m working i don´t notice what band is on except it really kicks me.
SubRosa is one of those bands!!!

Blondie´s Bochum - Home Of The Times Of Grace Burger

wer mich kennt hat sich sicher schon gefragt warum ich noch nie was übers  BLONDIE´S geschrieben habe.
ich hab, ehrlich gesagt, keine ahnung warum das so lange gedauert hat.besonders weil ich früher mindestens 3-4 mal die woche, mit meinem freund marc, da war und sogar ein burger nach mir benannt wurde...

egal,besser spät als nie.

im blondie´s gibts einen ganzen haufen an extrem guten sachen.es gibt diverse vegetarische und vegane burgervariationen mit einem speziellem hausgemachtem bratling, hot dogs, currywurst, pommes, salate, etc. ausserdem gibt es ständig wechselnde specials,fragt einfach mal nach oder checkt hier.
kuchen,cupcakes oder andere hausgemachte desserts sorgen für einen guten abschluss.

natürlich gibt es alles in vegan/vegetarisch und das komplette angebot im blondie´s besteht aus bio produkten.

ich wurde hier noch nie enttäuscht!

Papa No-Berlin Kreuzberg

am mittwoch haben wir im SO 39 in kreuzberg gespielt und direkt nebenan gibts PAPA NO.ein asiatisches restaurant mit einer guten auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen sachen.
die sachen sind unglaublich gut und man wartet keine 5 minuten auf sein essen.
sehr  zu empfehlen sind die saté spiesse oder der thai burger,als schneller snack zwischendurch oder als starter.

wenn ihr in berlin seid und bock auf was gutes chinesisches oder sushi habt ist papa no definitiv eine gute adresse.

this show was supposed to be my last show with Black Friday 29,which i left because i started tattooing in 2005 (for the record:i rejoined the band a couple of years later).we wanted to do something special for this show so we decided to do a little reunion show with Death Or Glory.

DOG split up in 2003 and is still my favourite band of all the ones i had over the years.

this one is on timo who is a bmx enthusiast.this is why there is also a part of a handlebar with the brake lever and cable which is all hard to see from this angle.this is the bad part about huge forearm or arm/leg/rib tattoos in general.you´ll never get a good photograph with the whole piece on it.but as you might have noticed,i don´t care that much about photos.otherwise i wouldn´t use this hipstamatic app all the time,right?:)

well being ist ein veganes/vegetarisches restauarant in köln.
hier gibt es leckeres asiatisches essen mit hausgemachtem fake fleisch mit wirklich sehr guter konsistenz und gutem geschmack.

die karte hat eine gute auswahl an frischen vor- und hauptspeisen und die preise sind echt ok.

die inhaber sind sehr nett und das well being ist definitiv die fahrt nach köln wert.

this is what my dad did on his forearms 44 years ago while he was in the navy...
these are the only two tattoos he ever did and ever got.all handpoked.
i think they look pretty cool.
